METZ monitor warranty conditions applicable in Poland

METZ's distributor in Poland warrants the product to be in good working order, provided that it is used as intended and as recommended in the user manual.

Warranty conditions:

1. the product warranty period covers 24 months for the equipment calculated from the date of sale of the product, unless otherwise stated in the offer and invoice (36msc and 60msc options available).

2. Within the warranty period, METZ Authorised Service will, in the event of damage being found, repair or replace the product or its parts free of charge to the user (at the service's discretion). The repaired/replaced product or its parts shall be free of defects. Defects in the product covered by the guarantee will be repaired free of charge for the customer as soon as possible, but no longer than 30 working days from the date of receipt of the product. In exceptional situations, this deadline may be extended after informing the customer in advance.

3. Products sent back to METZ's Authorised Service Centre should be complete. If incomplete products are sent back, the repair period may be extended or prevented. The product should be protected from any damage that may occur during transport, so the use of the original packaging is recommended.

4. The user has the right to exchange the product for a new one or another one - free of defects, at least of the same class, when:

1) the service centre states in writing that it is not possible to remove the defect,

2) it was not possible to carry out the warranty repair in time. 5.

5. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

1) use of the product contrary to its intended use and contrary to the instructions for use,

2) mechanical damage and improper use, negligence and accidents and fortuitous events regardless of their cause,

3) damage resulting from improper operation, maintenance, installation and any changes or modifications by persons and services not authorised to do so,

4) occurrence of faults related to non-original or inappropriate software not supplied with the product, if they result from the user's interference

5) operation of the product under conditions of significant contamination, high humidity or large temperature fluctuations, contact with food or liquid, corrosion and use of inappropriate electrical power or chemical substances,

6) scratches and damage to plastic surfaces and other external components subject to wear and tear under normal use of the product.

6. The product warranty does not apply if the service seal has been broken from the product, indicating unauthorised interference.

7. This guarantee applies only to original products including their technical components. The warranty does not cover software supplied with the product.

8. The warranty does not cover incompatibility of the sold product with the system software owned and installed by the buyer.

9. the warranty does not cover mechanical damage resulting from improper transportation, unpacking or mounting of the screen on the wall/mobile mounts. Special care should be taken when moving the monitors by touching directly the matrix instead of the mounts, which may cause breakage of the inner layer of the screen and consequently its damage.

10. When returning the claimed device for warranty repair, the user is obliged to delete the data stored in the device's memory. The guarantor is not liable for loss of software and data stored by the User in the device memory.

11. The guarantee does not grant the user the right to claim reimbursement of lost profits or compensation for inability to use the product for the time necessary to perform the guarantee repair.
